I created this portfolio to show what I've learned in WOU's MSed Information Technology program, to showcase the works that I've created while in this program.
I learned so much about education and technology in this program, I feel like it would be hard to sum it all up. I learned about finding and using many different types of emerging technologies to enhance, and augment learning. I learned about instructional design, website design, and also the principles of good design that can be applied to anything I create. I learned about Open Source tools, mobile technologies, using Geospatial technologies and so much more.
One of the goals for this program is to ensure that we adhere to the ISTE ( International Society for Technology in Education) standards for Educators, which are listed below. Therefore, completing this program requires that each student demonstrate that the works or artifacts that they've created during the program can exhibit that they understand and can apply these standards.
